I currently have a job offer from the client .
My previous company has applied in perm as Software engineer , Applications as Job Title and Job Description is PeoplesoftSoft, Peopletools ,SQR
My client would like to hire me as Peoplesoft Developer. but I am expecting a raise in salary of atleast 30%.
Would this be a problem ?
When you say Job description should be more or less same what exactly does that mean. Should it be exactly different or some minor change is ok ?
Help me out as I have to decide on the offer by weekend.

This event has been registered at SJPD but no permit was issued.
Having a permit means you can block the traffic.
Without a permit, we are required to stay on sidewalks.
The police put down my name, driver license # and address.
However, when I asked if I have any liability for others fault, the ploice said NO. Everybody abides by law for himself.

Hi Guys,
I came to know that if there is a significant increase in the new salary compared to old labor salary, the chances of getting a query is more.
Let us assume that if you old labor salary is X and if you want to take up a new job with X + 30% or more the chances for USCIS query is more.
If the salary increases between the jobs is 10% there should not be any issue.
Of course, these words are not from an attorney, i talked to a senior guy who is in this profession.
Before you are planning to use AC 21, please consult with attroney first and they only accept the new job.

At one end it is bad that USCIS moved back Nebraska Processing date to June 08 2007 (More than one month backword) but it looks like USCIS is preparing itself to kick EB3-India ahead... It is too early to say this confidently.. But my feeling is that USCIS will keep processing dates tied to June 2007 and will kick EB3-India ahead. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Though as per murthy's web site in May bulletin EB3-India dates will remain same, I am feeling that if my guess is correct then at least from June bulletin we will see 2 patterns 1) Nebraka processing date would not move ahead for some months or will

USCIS are doing internal transfer from more than a year(140 & 485). They are processing 140 and 485 at both the centers and requesting the application at NE only. It seems now you noticed.
well they have started allowing for direct filing to each of these centers from July 30th. It's going to be another pre-PERM situation when place like nevada used to process labor in 3 months whereas NY was taking 2 years.

As far as I can tell from this thread, no one who was eligible to file 6/1 has had receipts yet.
I was told, attorney / employer will receive notice of receipt for I 485, not employee. For EAD / AP - that goes to employee, not attorney / employer
